Weekly Rocky Peak Trail Hike

4.9 round trip miles of interesting rock formations and great valley views – that’s the most basic description of the Rocky Peak Trail. Optional turn around points at 3/4, 1 3/4 mile points, all with nice views. The fire road has been recently graded eliminating the ragged sections and making this a much smoother trail, eliminating much of the worry about every foot placement. Still a good workout and conditioning hike as well. Even on the hottest of days there is normally a breeze on this hike making it pleasant enough.
