We will start our hike from Manker Flats Campground. We will hike 3.4 miles on the Mt Baldy fire road up to the Notch Restaurant. After taking a break there, we will proceed another 1.4 miles to the Thunder Mountain. We will come back the same way.
Notch restaurant will open at 11 am. We can have a bite on the way back.
According to a meetup group that hiked there on 11/14, there are still snow on the ground, but mostly slushy. So your shoes and socks may get wet.
