We will begin the hike from Juanero Trail, then San Juan Creek Trail, then Cold Springs trail until we enter the San Juan Hot Springs areas. The hot springs area is in an abandoned area but there are still some small hot springs we can explore. See Dan’s HikingGuide for more interesting description of the hike in this area
We can return via the same trail back to the parking lot. For those who want more challenge in distance and elevation, you can return via the Oso trail loop. This will add 3 miles and 1200 feet elevation to the hike.
Distance – 10.5 miles
Elevation – 1100 feet
Level 2 – Moderate

This is a beautiful hike with expansive views. It is a nice and remote hike, so you are really out there in the wilderness.
