I have not hiked Peters Canyon for a long time. It is time to revisit this popular hiking trail.
We will start the hike at the Eucalyptus Trail then East View Ridge Trail going along the roller coastal trails along the ridge. We will take a break after coming down from Big Red to the main trail at Peters Canyon Trail. We will take a counter clockwise loop around the Lake. First we enter the main entrance of the park. There is a restroom there. Then we take the Lake View trail around the lake and loop back to the foot of Big Red. You can either take the flat trail back or go up Big Red along the ridge.
