Monday Crystal Cove Hike (Not for Beginners/Level 2+/3)

March’s Weekly Monday hike at Crystal Cove
Lets get together and hike for around 5 to 7 miles with few hundreds to 1000+ft gain/loss.
We start at the Ridge Park entrance in Newport Coast at the top of the hills street parking:
After the gate, we turn left to Bommer. Turn left to Lizard then we turn right to Laurel Spur and make another right to Willow. From Willow we turn right to Bommer (Not Bommer Spur). Boomer will take us to Trailhead

WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR: Bring water, snacks. Dress layers clothes and proper hiking shoes with traction. Pick up a paper map from trailhead just in case
10 Hiking Essentials (

Directions: From Newport Coast Road take Ridge Park Road uphill until it ends at intersection with Coastal Peak Road. Trailhead is at the end of Ridge Park Road. Park along the road and meet at trailhead. Try to arrive 10 min early for introductions.
